Description

Traditional metal powder sintered filter element has a smooth inner wall and a rough outer wall structure. The filter layer with a rough surface is easier to form a filter cake layer during operation. For sticky solid particles, this phenomenon is more obvious.

 
For external smooth metal powder sintered filter elements, due to the small binding force between solid particles and the smooth outer surface, the disturbance effect of fluid (solid or liquid) on the surface of the filter element will inhibit or delay the formation of filter cake. In turn, the interval between blowback is extended, easy to blowback, and long life, which can indirectly reduce the energy consumption of the system.
