Gas-Solid Separation

CMI provides full solutions to hot gas filtration in large chemical industry. The solid particles in gas phase can cause serious problems such as the wear of downstream pump, blockage of the tray, or the substandard exhaust gas emission particle content. CMI automatic back blowing filtration system and porous metal cartridges can be applied for removal and recovering of precious catalysts or unreacted solid phase raw material.

Liquid-Solid Filtration

Precious catalyst filtration and recovery is a key problem in hydrogenation plant. CMI filtration and separation systems have been applied extensively throughout the hydrocarbon processing industries for removal and recovery of precious metal catalysts. Especially in the industries, for example, food & beverage, pharmaceutical intermediates, pesticides, dyes, food additives and so on. 

Gas Sparging 

Sintered porous products are used as gas sparging happens a lot in beverage production, water treatment and so on. They can break the gas into micro-sized bubbles, increase the oxygen concentration as much as possible. 

Powder Convey

Ultra-fine powder is easy to form agglomeration, bridging or channeling in the process of conveying and result difficulty in conveying. The solution is to make it homogeneous fluidized during the transportation. Part with porous metal plate could be a good solution to blow gas during transportation to avoid bridging and so on.
