Porous PE Filters are manufactured from sintered polyethylene material with a controlled porous structure, offering reliable filtration, venting, and flow control performance in a lightweight and corrosion-resistant form. These filters are widely used for air, gas, and liquid applications where chemical resistance and stable permeability are required.

They provide low pressure drop, good particle retention, and excellent resistance to moisture and many chemicals. Porous PE filters are commonly supplied as discs, tubes, rods, sheets, caps, and custom molded components.

Typical applications include air vents, water filtration, battery venting, medical devices, automotive reservoirs, chemical equipment, mufflers, and protective vents for electronic enclosures.

CMI Filtration can manufacture Porous PE Filters in various micron ratings, sizes, and custom designs based on customer drawings or samples.

CMI inert, hydrophobic polyethylene filters provide aerosol barriers for pipette tips
The conventional UHMW-PE frits are hydrophobic and are often used in non-aqueous solutions such as alcohols
CMI self-sealing filters work with peripheral venous catheters to simplify excluding air bubbles
Self-sealing filters are widely used in medical & surgical applications.
CMI filters for oxygen concentrators are used in humidification and filtration devices of oxygen concentrators.
CMI filters for humidifiers are sintered from high purity UHMW-PE material
